On the right side there are four buttons and an edit box:

− Network Status button: shows if the network data collection is in progress or not

(idle);

− Clear Data button: removes all data frames collected in the Data column;

− Open Network button: starts the base station data collection;

− Close Network button: stops the base station data collection.

− Answer two way mode edit box: contains the string to be sent back to each

device waiting for an answer from the PC.

A.2.1 Network Configuration

The network base stations and devices can be set in the Visual Basic application

window. To open this window it is necessary to click at first on the design mode icon;

then, to double-click on the STAR-Link™ ActiveX button. The complete toolbar can

be displayed by following the path: Tools→Customize→Toolbars→Visual Basic.
