1.3 SCANNING BAR CODES WITH THE DLL2020

The DLL2020 is an omnidirectional scanner featuring a 4-directional scan

field with a 16-line scan pattern. Bar codes can easily be read by

presenting them to the scanner. The scan volume is illustrated in the

figure above. The optimal reading zone lies between 3 and 15 cm from

the scanner window. However, bar codes can still be read up to 25 cm

(10 inches) from the scanner window.
